Energid Completes Second Successful Cadaver Lab Test For Machine Vision Robot
Cambridge, Massachusetts (May 2, 2012) — Energid completed another successful cadaver lab test of its automated (machine vision guided) endotracheal intubation robot. This portable robot uses machine vision to insert an air tube into a blocked airway. Energid’s Vice President, Chu-Yin Chang, is Principal Investigator on the project and Ranjan Kumar Mishra is Senior Robotics Engineer. A third cadaver lab test is scheduled for May 23, 2012 at Massachusetts General Hospital.
