Energid Receives Grant From The National Science Foundation For Application Of Petri Nets For Robot Motion Control
Cambridge, Massachusetts (October 16, 2011) — Energid has received a grant from the National Science Foundation for application of Petri nets to robot grasping and manipulation. In this project, Energid will work with Florida International University (FIU) to implement robot motion control using Petri nets. New software will capture configuration information from an intuitive GUI and convert this into Petri nets for analysis and control. The embedded control logic will be automatically created in C++. This grant was made in accordance with NSF 10-055 (Phase IIA).
