Energid developed the control system for a line of affordable manipulators sold by Robai. These robots are kinematically sophisticated, dexterous, strong, and accurate, yet reasonably priced. The control is implemented using Energid's Actin toolkit. Robai customers are able to control the robot locally with a variety of input devices, control the robot remotely, visualize the robot, and change behaviors on the fly while operating the robot. Network interfaces are also provided using Actin.
