Energid Technologies provides services and software for 3D computer graphics and rendering. Our 3D visualization toolkit includes software and services for the rendering of images when the object itself is not readily available, and can be used for mapping, games, engineering planning, and simulations and training visualization. Our visualization toolkit is flexible to suit the needs of many different graphics rendering 3D object visualization needs.

Our specialty is fast rendering for fielded engineering applications. Using OpenGL and our XML-based model description language, we can render any number of bifurcating, articulated 3D objects realistically and in real time.

We have applied our graphics engine to a variety of challenging problems for clients. Applications include distributed 3D visualization, where dynamic simulation algorithms are executed on networked computers and rendered on others using TCP/IP with XML messaging. We have applied our methods to render synthetic images for model-based computer vision algorithms, and we have applied them to virtual reality and telepresence applications using stereo rendering with shutter glasses.
