Energid Technologies has been awarded a two-year contract to create a new type of Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) simulation-based training system. The system will include battlefield simulation, intelligent agents, intelligent tutoring, voice recognition, dialog interpretation, synthetic vision, and a detailed cognitive model of the pilot. It will be designed to run on a TAC trainee's PC and integrate with the TAC's equipment and maps. A pilot will be simulated, and no additional humans are required in the training loop.
