Energid Technologies has been awarded an Army contract to develop control and simulation software for a humanoid robot being developed for TATRC.  The robot's mission is to extract injured soldiers from the battlefield and move them to safe grounds.  The robot has a mobile base, and a humanoid hydraulically actuated torso capable of lifting a 300 pound soldier.
