Douglas Barker is the Chief Operating Officer at Energid Technologies. He manages project teams focused on Energid commercial service contracts and product development for Actin robotic control software.
Jim Bacon is the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for financial planning and accounting. He contributes to each department and project through monthly resource allocations and financial data for budgeting and cost tracking.
Lacey Trebaol is the Director of Marketing at Energid, with responsibility for digital marketing programs, brand management and content development.
Yichao Pan is the Product Manager at Energid. He is focused on defining, field testing, and launching new products based on Actin software.
Marcus Grandinetti is an Application Engineer that works on the ActiNav Bin Picking product. His work includes completing pre-sale application assessments and post sales deployment/support. Marcus gathers use cases and feedback to help further product development.

Neil has spearheaded commercial initiatives in the energy, medical, and collaborative robotics sectors. Prior to joining Energid, Neil held key R&D and management roles at Northrop Grumman Norden Systems, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, and Technology Service Corporation. Neil has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hartford and a M.S. in Computer Science from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University.

James English is President and Chief Technical Officer of Energid Technologies. He leads project teams in the development of complex robotic, machine vision, and simulation systems.
James’ specialty is automatic remote robotics. Prior to founding Energid, his background was in software development in the engineering and aerospace industries where he held key R&D positions with Raytheon and MAK Technologies. He has authored many journal and conference papers and multiple patents related to the control and simulation of robotic systems. James holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
Vice President
Chu-Yin Chang is the Vice President of Energid Technologies. He is mostly focused on machine vision related projects.
Prior to Energid, he worked in the semi-conductor industry developing automated wafer inspection systems. He has authored many journal and conference papers and multiple patents related to inspection and computer vision. Chu-Yin has a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis and holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
COO
Douglas Barker is the Chief Operating Officer at Energid Technologies. He manages project teams focused on Energid commercial service contracts and product development for Actin robotic control software.
Previously, he was a Lead Project Engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center and has been the Principal Investigator (PI) for multiple NASA and DARPA projects. Douglas received a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on the development of a real-time particle tracking system for large-scale 3D flow-field measurement.

Jim Bacon is the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for financial planning and accounting. He contributes to each department and project through monthly resource allocations and financial data for budgeting and cost tracking. Energid’s Actin toolkit leverages SolidWorks and XML tools that were developed by Jim.
Prior to joining Energid in 2003, Jim was a systems engineer and integrated product team (IPT) leader for Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson where he developed simulations for AIM-9X, NetFires NLOS-LS, and the Systems Engineering department. Jim earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Illinois in aeronautical and astronautical engineering, and he has published several papers in the domains of computational fluid dynamics and software development for simulation.
Director of Marketing
Lacey Trebaol is the Director of Marketing at Energid, with responsibility for marketing programs, brand management and content development.
Prior to joining Energid, she worked in the engineering and marketing departments at several companies including Brown and Caldwell and Northrop Grumman. Notable is her 5 years in marketing for RTI, where she directed content strategy and creation efforts, founded a users’ group, and spearheaded multiple technical content marketing initiatives.

Craig has over 35 years of software engineering experience, in a variety of disciplines; the last 15-plus years of which there have been an emphasis on embedded systems programming. Craig joined Energid from Teradyne and is working on the infrastructure team, contributing towards introducing tools and techniques to ensure program code reliability.

Sr. Robotic Research Engineer
Ryan is a Sr. Research Engineer, with over 15 years of experience in simulation and controls based. Since joining Energid over 6 years ago, he has focused on developing new algorithms and approaches to overcome challenges in robotics and autonomous systems. He has helped customers in fields including aerospace, defense and medicine apply these tools in Actin. He also provides pre-sales support, helping Energid to better understand our customer's needs.
