For seven years, the RBR50 list has been one of the most prestigious collections of industry leaders in robotics, artificial intelligence, and unmanned systems. The RBR50 is broken down into five categories: artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, components, manufacturing, and supply chain. These categories reflect the most active markets for automation. Industry leaders possess a novel technology, a strong understanding of customer needs, and an ecosystem of developers and integrators. Other 2018 RBR50 winners include Kuka, NVIDIA Corp., Alphabet Inc., and Tesla, as well an Energid customers Universal Robots and Omron Adept Technologies.
"We are honored to be recognized as a 2018 RBR50 winner in the Robotic Components category," said Neil Tardella, CEO at Energid. "We designed the Actin SDK, which provides real-time adaptive motion control for robots, to meet the most challenging requirements out there. Our mission is to free your development team up to focus on what you want the robot to do, and to let Actin handle the rest. Our customers are building robotic systems that will change the way things are done everywhere from operating rooms to oil drilling platforms, across the world. We are proud to be a part of the RBR50 and to continue offering market-leading technology that helps companies accelerate deployment of these next-generation robotic systems.
